Dermot Murphy Photography is a family owned photography studio that is a seven-time PPANI Award Winner and has achieved the top award of Northern Ireland Photographer of the Year.
Dermot has been taking photos since he got his first professional camera as an engagement gift from his wife Catherine.
It has been a passion throughout the growth of their family and culminated into a full time job ten years ago when he ditched his steady job to follow his heart.
Catherine has been on the other end of the lens all along and more recently came on board after deciding that if you can’t beat them… join them.
Her background as a nurse and establishing her own daycare nursery gave her the experience to add to Dermot’s skill and allowed them to form an unmatchable team as they both trained in newborn photography to specialise in what they loved. With four of their own they make no secret of being very comfortable around babies and it shows.
They are also excited about their brand new studio on Wellington Park, and have a special 10th Anniversary offer.
