Keep your fingers and toes crossed for some sunshine and join Lord Mayor Arder Carson as he hosts his Big City Picnic on Saturday 30 April to celebrate his year in office. Saturday at 12 PM – 5 PM
While away the afternoon on the City Hall lawns with a free concert featuring a wealth of local entertainers compered by Cool FM’s Pete Snodden, watch street theatre shows from Festival of Fools, perfect your soccer skills or test your superhero powers. There’ll be face painting and crafts, balloons and fairytale characters and a few surprises too.
And if movies are more your thing, we’ll be showing three Classics of the Silver Screen in the Reception Hall at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Seats allocated on a first come, first served basis.
No picnic would be complete without a tasty treat or two; St George’s Market on Tour is sure to have plenty to whet your appetite, so pack up your picnic and join us!
