This winter, Ryanair reveals its comprehensive Winter 23/24 itinerary for Belfast, showcasing 16 destinations. This includes the introduction of three enticing winter sun routes. The airline has expanded its offerings, now featuring 11 additional routes from Belfast International Airport compared to the pre-pandemic period. This ensures passengers from Belfast enjoy a plethora of choices at the most affordable prices for their winter vacations. Lanzarote, Porto, and Turin are the latest additions to the winter flight programme.
Dara Brady, Ryanair’s Head of Digital & Marketing, expressed his enthusiasm about the expansion in Belfast, stating, “It’s a pleasure to unveil our most extensive Winter lineup ever, marking our growth in the region. Now, with a total of 16 destinations, 11 more than before the pandemic, we’re offering our customers an expanded selection of winter destinations or city excursions at our renowned competitive rates. Our increased UK connectivity is a testament to the recent reductions in APD (Airport Passengers Duty) by the UK government. It’s essential to note that any rise in domestic APD charges would be counter-intuitive. We urge reconsideration of the proposed hike set for April ’24 as it would hinder connectivity.”
Brady continued, “Our newly introduced flights to Lanzarote, Porto, and Turin present even more winter holiday options. With two aircraft stationed in Belfast, we’ve created 60 quality job opportunities and have indirectly facilitated another 980 local jobs. It’s a testament to our dedication to the Belfast community, ensuring they have more options for winter trips.”
