Q Radio has announced that Q Zoo creator and presenter Ryan A will take over the station’s drivetime slot with a brand new show entitled the Home Run.
Commenting on the change of line up Robert Walshe, Managing Director and Head of Programmes at Q Radio said:
“At Q Radio we are committed to providing content that our listeners connect with and react to. Ryan has been reaffirming such commitment on his Q Zoo programme, having fun with our listeners through a series of pranks and competitions, as well as delivering the latest in showbiz news and the best in music.
“The Q Zoo was shortlisted in the 2017 New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards for Best Comedy/Humour Personality in a local market and I am confident Ryan will bring this internationally recognised signature humour and style to the drivetime slot.
Commenting on the move Ryan A said:
“I am absolutely buzzing to get started and Easter Monday can’t come quick enough. I have so many fresh and original ideas and can’t wait to share these with our listeners on their home run, keeping them company and, simply put, having the banter!”
The first Home Run drivetime show will broadcast on Monday 2nd April and every weekday beyond that from 4pm until 7pm.
