BBC presenter Stephen Clements has died at the age of 47.

The Radio Ulster host, who leaves behind wife Natasha and two children Poppy and Robbie, died suddenly, according to a statement from Q Radio.

Clements, from Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland, joined the BBC last year after a long stint hosting Q Radio’s breakfast show.

QRadio tweeted: “We are heartbroken today to learn that our former Q Radio Breakfast show host, colleague and friend Stephen Clements has died suddenly at the age of 47.”
