Pop Up Presents was created by Jimmy Brown who just recently moved back to his hometown of Belfast after living in Charlotte NC/Nashville, TN for the last 12 years.
Jimmy enjoyed success with his former band Matrimony who were signed to Columbia Records. Matrimony toured the US playing clubs and festivals and had songs featured in HBO’s “Girls”, a Chevrolet Malibu Commercial, the re-make of the thriller “Carrie” and more.
Brown says “after moving back I’ve noticed an incredible amount of local talent so I teamed up with Foundry and promoter, Ross Moffett to put together a show that gives local artists a space to develop a following, try out new songs and develop their live performance. I’ve been overwhelmed at the response so far and am very excited for the first gig at Foundry July 5 feat. New Portals, Bassh and Sit Tight!”.
“Pop Up” was created for local artists to perform their original work- where local music fans can appreciate original songs in a great sounding venue. The first four “Pop Up” shows feature New Portals, Bassh and Sit Tight. Each show is on the first Wednesday of the month so mark your calendars now!
The first Pop Up is FREE and the first 100 people through the door get a free bottle of Hop House.
Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm, FREE admission.
