Kirker Greer Spirits is delighted to announce that it has had great success at the London Spirits Competition 2021, with their brands winning 17 commendations, including a Gold medal for their Jawbox Gin Rhubarb & Ginger liqueur expression.
Now in its fourth year, the London Spirits Competition is an annual judging of international spirits organised by the Beverage Trade Network. The competition looks to recognise, reward and help promote spirits brands that have successfully been created to identify with and target a specific spirits drinker.
Spirits were judged on the basis of three primary criteria – quality, value and packaging – and then scored on a 100-point scale. Spirits that scored 90+ points were awarded Gold medals, including Jawbox Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Liqueur.
A gin liqueur that can be enjoyed all year round, Jawbox Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Liqueur is expertly balanced with the perfect combination of sweet and spice, married with the unique botanicals of the classic Jawbox Small Batch Gin. The infusions of natural rhubarb and natural ginger layered into the base of Jawbox Gin tantalise the tastebuds thanks to the combination of tart rhubarb and fiery ginger.
Thirteen other brands in their portfolio won silver medals including Ginato Clementino Italian Gin, Bowsaw Small Batch Bourbon and Grand Kadoo Carnival Pineapple Rum. Whilst another three brands won bronze including Ginato Pinot Grigio Italian Gin.
John Soden, CCO Kirker Greer Spirits, comments on the awards haul: “We are delighted that our brands were so highly commended in such a prestigious spirits competition. It affirms that the select premium spirits we have in our portfolio are the kind that bar managers and mixologists want to stock and that consumers want to enjoy drinking.”
