Katie Sharkie and Sophie Morrison (both aged 7) were “papped” at an exclusive VIP party hosted by Asda at Asda Living, Cityside Retail Park, Belfast as they celebrated the release of the new Minions Movie. The girls’ parents entered an online competition to win tickets to the special “Minion Madness” party at Asda Living which gave them ‘access all areas’ passes for the special one-off event.
Kids were treated to food, entertainment and Minion language classes, as well as tickets to a screening of the film at the nearby Movie House Cinema. Every ‘little minion’ in attendance even had an exclusive meet and greet with a very special guest – Gru himself!
General Store Manager for Asda Living, Kate Hamilton said “All of the Minion merchandise we’ve had in store has been getting all of our colleagues really excited for the new movie! It was a great party but I think a few of our colleagues were a bit jealous of the awesome goody bags full of Minion merchandise which every kid went home with!”
