The Waterfront Hall will host two concerts celebrating the music of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and The Rings of Power and the music of Harry Potter on 12 and 13 Aprilrespectively.
The Lord of the Rings concert will feature William Kircher, a symphonic orchestra and a choir performing the Oscar-winning music of Howard Shore, Annie Lennox, Enya, Ed Sheeran and the new Amazon series, The Rings of Power. Unique music, reaching from the threatening sounds of Mordor and the shrill attack of the black riders, and the beautiful lyrical melodies of the elves, will delight fans.
The Harry Potter concert, also featuring a symphonic orchestra and choir, will allow guests to experience the most significant musical moments of Harry Potter including the film soundtracks of four-time Oscar-winning composer John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper, and Alexandre Desplat. A very special guest, usually an actor from the Weasley Family, will make the concert unforgettable with all kinds of fun and good humour. Visitors can expect to be enchanted by advanced light and laser technology as well as a unique sound dimension that is guaranteed to leave them with goosebumps.
Both the two-hour evening performances promise to be highly emotional experiences for fans of these magical franchises. Tickets start at £25.00 and are available from waterfront.co.uk
