Picturesque Warrenpoint is once again set to play host to some of the world’s leading blues and jazz performers who are heading to the Co.Down town for the 19th International Guinness® Blues on the Bay Festival from 24-29 May 2017. The festival, sponsored by Diageo, attracts thousands of music loving tourists with many coming from across the globe to visit the renowned festival which offers over 90 free events.
The 19th International Guinness® Blues on the Bay Festival features six days of amazing blues, jazz, music workshops and specialist cuisine and is jam-packed with artists from across the globe and from closer to home.
The Festival will also host a special concert at Warrenpoint Town Hall on 26th May featuring the original members of Rory Gallagher’s band; Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O’Neil. Gallagher’s band will be joined over the weekend by a number of local artists including Lisburn based jazz, soul, gospel and funk singer Dana Masters who currently supports Van Morrison on tour.
