Sports Pro Travel is pleased to announce a new partnership with Northern Ireland Netball. As the ‘Official Travel Partner’ of NI Netball, Sports Pro Travel will support and provide travel services for all NI Netball teams.
Globally, netball is governed by World Netball, established in 1960, and played in over 80 countries across five regions, with Northern Ireland being part of the Europe Netball region. Through netball, there is a significant opportunity to enhance the mental and physical health and wellbeing of women throughout Northern Ireland, while also developing high-performing athletes for the international stage.
Commenting on the partnership, Karen Rollo-Stewart, NI Netball Executive Manager, said:
“Netball NI have a long-established history of competing in the European Championships, as well as multiple World Cups and Commonwealth Games. With the logistics involved in sending teams to these events, and as we reignite our performance programme across national squads, now is the right time to partner with a professional travel company specializing in sports and team travel. We are thrilled to join with Sports Pro Travel, whose enthusiasm, experience, and attention to detail can ease the pressure on our staff as we manage multiple complex programmes. Having already managed recent travel for our Warrior group, we know we are in safe hands.“
Sports Pro Travel has converted their passion for sport into a thriving business, focusing on managing all aspects of professional sports travel requirements. Offering a 24/7 dedicated in-house service, they are the preferred travel partner for many high-profile teams across the UK and Ireland. Through their partner business, Sports Entertainment Tours, they also provide a successful sporting events service for fans and supporters.
John Boyde, Sports Pro Travel Managing Director, added:
“We are delighted to support Northern Ireland Netball with their travel requirements. As an agency, we pride ourselves on delivering an end-to-end service that is entirely bespoke to meet the ever-changing needs of our sports clients. Our core values of integrity, trust, and excellence align with those of NI Netball, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship. We are grateful for their trust in us.”
