With Ant McPartlin’s drunk driving incident yesterday, ITV has already made the following statement regarding this weekend’s show: “ITV has taken a joint decision with Ant and Dec’s team not to broadcast Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend.”
#SaturdayNightTakeaway will not air this weekend as co-host Ant McPartlin has further treatment, ITV has said.
It follows his arrest on suspicion of drink driving in south-west London on Sunday.

The spokesperson continued, “We will be reviewing options for the last two episodes of the series (March 31 and April 7) which would not feature Ant who is taking time off to seek treatment. We very much hope that he gets the help that he needs.”
Although the show will be cancelled this weekend, the remaining two shows in the series might still be on. Fans are now calling for a certain someone to replace him to wrap it up.
Many are asking for Scarlett Moffatt to step up and take Ant’s place.
Would you like to see Ant replaced with Scarlett? Someone has to do the job, and it looks like Ant will definitely be busy taking care of his own health.
