Overseas visitors to the UK are expected to slowly increase in 2021, following a crash in tourist numbers due to the coronavirus crisis, according to Britain’s tourist board.
VisitBritain’s annual forecast predicts a gradual increase in the number of tourists between January and March, a rise it is hoped will continue through into Easter, should national restrictions ease.
Despite this, visitor numbers are not expected to reach even half of previous years’ figures, however.
