A Global Rock Powerhouse Returns to Belfast

Few bands have left a mark on modern rock like Kings of Leon. With multiple Grammy and BRIT Awards, the Nashville quartet have built one of the most successful and influential careers in alternative rock over the last 20 years.

Their impressive tour history reads like a greatest-hits of world festivals — Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading & Leeds (three times!), plus headline sets at Lollapalooza in Berlin, São Paulo, Chicago and Santiago. They also made history with a record-breaking fifth sold-out night at London’s Hyde Park.

Now, they’re bringing that stadium-level energy straight to Belsonic 2026.

An Iconic Discography Loved Worldwide

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon — Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew Followill — have delivered a run of albums that shaped a generation of music fans. Their nine-album catalogue includes:

  • Youth & Young Manhood (2003)
  • Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004)
  • Because of the Times (2007)
  • Only by the Night (2008)
  • Come Around Sundown (2010)
  • Mechanical Bull (2013)
  • WALLS (2016)
  • When You See Yourself (2021)
  • Can We Please Have Fun (2024)

With over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles sold, plus awards including three Grammy wins, three NME Awards, two BRIT Awards, and a Juno Award, Kings of Leon remain one of the world’s most enduring live acts.

New Music, New Energy

Kings of Leon continue to evolve and surprise. Recently, the band released a four-track EP, along with exciting new collaborations — including their feature on Zach Bryan’s Live in Jersey single alongside Bruce Springsteen, covering the iconic Atlantic City.

With fresh music and fan favourites ready to shake Belfast, it’s set to be a powerful summer night at Ormeau Park.
