Mums and Dads take a break as the kids prove why they should sail for free!
Mums and Dads, prepare to become very popular as leading ferry company Stena Line announces that kids go free* every day and on every sailing on their Belfast routes when you book at least seven days in advance and before June 30 for travel by car until August 31, 2014.
A recent questionnaire carried out by Stena Line revealed that 35% of people from the Northern Ireland who were surveyed had never been on a road trip and Diane Poole OBE, Stena Line’s Head of PR and Communications explains why now is the perfect time to be adventurous and embark on a road trip that includes a Stena Line crossing.
“We are delighted to announce the return of our Kids Go Free offer which enables families to get away for less and not having to worry about the cost of travel for the children means there is more money to spend on having fun and children get an adventure onboard a ferry to tell all their friends about,” said Diane.
The Stena Line questionnaire also revealed that almost 100% of people from the Northern Ireland who were surveyed agreed that road trips offer greater freedom and flexibility when compared to other holidays.
“A journey with Stena Line helps to enhance this freedom even further” explained Diane “as holidaymakers can also look forward to no baggage restrictions or charges so you can bring all the comforts of home and avoid long queues at check-in.”
She continued: “Throughout the summer months some of our sailings have free kids entertainment available ensuring they will always have something to do during their trip. As well as that, we have a great kid’s play area, free WiFi and you can even watch a free blockbuster film. We also offer fabulous dining options including a great-value family meal deal for two adults and up to three children for £25* and this summer kids will receive a free ice-cream with each meal deal. For those who like a good bargain, there is up to 50% off hundreds of quality lines compared to the High street in the onboard shop.
“With a fantastic onboard experience to look forward to as well as fantastic savings, make sure you book your car travel by June 30 to avail of our Kids Go Free offer,” Diane added.
