Holywood Culture Night

The main programme of free events takes place along Holywood High Street from 6 – 9pm with activities for all ages planned. Holywood Culture Night’s John Woods said:

“We’re really excited about this year’s Holywood Culture Night line-up – a fun feast for all the senses!

“Our celebrations continue to grow every year and we really want our audience to get involved, especially in our Closing Chorus Finale at 8.30pm when we’ll set our first Culture Night record with a massive street sing-along led by local choirs and singers.

“Other highlights this year will be a Strand Arts Centre pop-up at Holywood Fire Station, the Thunder Action Sports Show with local BMX legend Joel Harper and we’ve teamed-up with Myra Zepf  – Children’s Writing Fellow for NI – for Fighting Words Belfast’s never-ending story workshop for budding young writers and storytellers.

“We’d like to thank all our partners, performers, volunteers and local businesses for supporting Holywood Culture Night and we look forward to welcoming everyone on September 22 to sample the very best of Holywood!” said John.
