Families First Awards – Who’s your Family’s Hero?

_NIK2744

Every family has a hero, whether it’s a Mummy or Daddy who goes the extra mile, a Nanny who repeatedly saves the day, a childminder who goes above and beyond, or a child who is simply a true superhero, the Families First Awards 2016 are back and here to help you say a big thank you to your heroes.

As well as acknowledging the important people your family relies on, the awards are a chance to also acknowledge those businesses who help you make every-day life happier, easier, or just that little bit more pleasurable. From the best restaurant, best activity or best day out to the Best Nursery you could have hoped for, it’s up to you to get voting for your family favourites.

Voting lines are now open and families across the province are invited to nominate their heroes and vote for their favourite family friendly businesses.

In 2016 the awards will be bigger than ever before with two gala events being hosted to accommodate the vast number of entries from across the province, Ann King, founder of the Families First Awards is excited for what lies ahead;

                “Life is hard for families and there is a lot of pressure on those with young children to do the right thing and make sure they are always doing their best for their children. The people and businesses nominated in these awards are making a real difference to families across Northern Ireland and these awards are a great way of saying thank you. This year sees us put on an event in the Belfast area and one in Armagh which will recognise people and businesses across most of Northern Ireland. I’d like to thank everyone for nominating their heroes and ask that you go online now and place your votes for the business awards and your nominations for the people awards.”

Families First Awards will be hosted at La Mon Country House Hotel and the closing date for entries and votes is be the 29th January. To nominate that someone special or to cast your vote for a local business please visit www.familiesfirst.ie
