Tell us how you became involved in DJ and radio work?
I used to help a friend out with his mobile disco doing Weddings etc, he got a double booking one night, I stood in and the rest is History.

 What do you enjoy most about your job?
Playing the tunes people love, when I’m DJ’ing at Weddings it’s great to meet new faces and make brides & Grooms happy.
On the radio it’s much more personal, my show is late nite I get a lot of people who are alone and venerable and are just wanting to chat to someone which I’m happy to do,it’s all part of the service. I’ve dreamt of doing the job I’m In now from I was aged 7.

What is the highlight of your career to date?
Working in U105 with the most seasoned team of presenters in Northern Ireland’s commercial Radio scene.
Everyday is a school day,I learn something new everyday from my colleagues. Also being the recommended DJ  for the Hastings Hotel Group is something I’m very proud off.

Outside of work, what are your hobbies?
Love spending time with my wife in kids, I enjoy live concerts and only recently have enjoyed going to watch plays.

Where is your favourite place in Northern Ireland?
I live in Newcastle County Down,this is my favourite place. We have the mountains and the sea,what else could you ask for.

Where is your favourite restaurant in Northern Ireland?
The Downshire Arms in Hilltown County Down. Consistently great food with the personal touch when it comes to customer service.

Who is your biggest role model?
Michael Flatley, he always said follow your dream, I done that and the dream came true to be doing what I’m doing now.

Tell us about a great book which you have read recently?
I used to love reading autobiography’s but wouldn’t have the time these days. My favourite autobiography was by Ricky Tomlinson.

If you could only listen to one artist for the rest of your life, who would it be?
Billy Joel,he was playing in my family Home whilst I was growing  up and brings back some great memories.

What is your advice for someone looking to break into the industry?
Work hard,never think your not good enough and stay away from dream crushers.
