George Ezra today announces a major UK tour for October 2014 including a date at The Limelight 1 on Tuesday 14th October. Hertford-reared, Bristol-based singer/songwriter George Ezra possesses a deep, resonant, and emotionally weathered voice that belies his considerable youth.
Influenced by similarly precocious troubadours like Dylan and Hank Williams, Ezra was just 19 when he issued his debut single “Budapest,” a warm, amiable, and soulful slice of classy folk-pop that invoked names like Willy Mason, Ben Howard, Ray Lamontagne and Tom Odell.
That song, along with three others, appeared on his 2013 debut EP Did You Hear The Rain. His debut album Wanted On Voyage is out now on Columbia Records and has received much critical acclaim.
George will be joined on tour by 21 year old singer songwriter Rae Morris whom has garnered much attention since recently signing to Atlantic Records.
Tickets are available for pre-sale via georgeezra.com from 23rd July and on general sale from www.ticketmaster.ie now
