Children and adults alike will tomorrow discover that food is not just about taste but also about using all your other senses at the Slow Food Kids’ Taste Adventure at the Ulster Museum (Belfast, 12–6pm).
Organised by the Belfast Food Network, free interactive activities will feature good food, crafts, discussions with local producers and much more.
Kerry Melville, Coordinator, Belfast Food Network said: “The Belfast Food Network is delighted to be hosting the Taste Adventure with the new Slow Food group. The family friendly Taste Adventure is free of charge. It is a series of simple, fun activities based on the five senses and is aimed at children aged 4 – 10 years – but big kids will love it too!
“Families will travel through the seeing, touchy, smelly, tasty and hearing zones to complete their culinary adventure with local producers.”
Children will receive a Slow Food Kids’ Taste Adventure Passport which is stamped as they pass through the zones.
