Little did Leeanne Rooney know that when she lost her beloved sister, Noleen, to breast cancer in 2014, she would one day carry forward the charity her sister founded in 2006. What began as Noleen’s dream to support local breast cancer patients and their families has continued to grow under Leeanne’s care and determination.
“I still miss Noleen every single day,” said Leeanne. “She fought so hard, not only for herself but for everyone around her. Even when she was at her weakest, she was thinking of others. That’s the kind of person she was completely selfless.”
All these years later, Pretty ‘n’ Pink remains Northern Ireland’s only breast cancer charity, providing vital financial support, counselling, and therapies for those affected by a breast cancer diagnosis, still standing strong and still helping those who need it most.
Wanting to do something special to raise both awareness and vital funds, Leeanne came up with a brave and heartfelt idea: to purchase a stunning vintage Chanel handbag and generously donate it to the charity to be raffled off in a special competition.
