Suitor & Co, the much-loved café at the heart of Holywood, is preparing to enter an exciting new chapter in its journey.
Founded in 2021 by the dynamic trio of Nichola, Anna, and Chris, Suitor & Co has become one of the region’s most celebrated cafés – known for its warm atmosphere, standout brunches, fresh bakes, and exceptional brews. Over the past 3.5 years, this partnership has weathered the challenges of launching a start-up in turbulent times, building a loyal customer base and a thriving business that continues to grow year on year.
Anna, the culinary force behind the café’s acclaimed menu, has long been a pillar of Suitor & Co’s success. Her dedication to quality and creativity in the kitchen has earned rave reviews and a strong following among local food lovers.
Now, as of the end of June 2025, Chef Anna will become the sole owner of Suitor & Co through a shareholder buyout – a major milestone in her 25-year hospitality career. This move allows Anna to take full creative and operational control of the café she helped build, ticking the final box in a journey defined by passion and professionalism.
Nichola and Chris, who will step away from daily operations to pursue new ventures, shared their gratitude:
