Next weekend (3-5 May) East BelFEST festival, in association with Forestside, is hosting an amazing May Day bank holiday music festival at The Stormont Hotel, Belfast.
The opening night, Friday 3 May, welcomes Dublin’s blues legend Rob Strong, with local band Villiers and The Villains as support. This band has been creating a bit of a buzz with the authentic sound and original songs on their new album ‘Music Confounds The Machines,’ which has received massive critical acclaim.
On Saturday 4 May, East BelFEST hosts an under 18s gig with X Factor Semi Finalists Sean and Conor Price performing a live set at 5pm. Local singer songwriter Ben Cutler, who won NI’s Busking Competition, will play support.
East BelFEST Supergroup Ronnie Greer, Ken Haddock, Anthony Toner, Nicky Scott, John McCullough, Dave Howell and Peter McKinney will headline on Saturday evening
The festival closes on Sunday 5 May with the World’s greatest Beatles Tribute, Made in Liverpool, who are resident in The Cavern Club. Local singer songwriter Aidan Logan will play support.
