We’ve teamed up with BOC, one of Northern Ireland’s longest standing musical theatre groups to give away 5 pairs of tickets to see this exciting production which comes to the stage in early March 2023 – Keep the tickets for yourself or perhaps gift them to a loved one for Christmas!
With a sweeping score and a powerful storyline, this production of the classic and often dark story of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” will delight and surprise the audience with its respectful and unique show created by the talented and passionate performers of BOC.
From the Oscar-winning team of Alan Menken (Beauty And The Beast, Sister Act, A Christmas Carol) and Stephen Schwartz (WICKED, Godspell, The Prince of Egypt), comes a lush retelling of Victor Hugo’s epic story of love, acceptance, and what it means to be a hero.
Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. Peter Parnell’s new book embraces story theatre and features verbatim passages from Hugo’s gothic novel and whilst the original story was written in the 1800’s there are strong underlying messages of inclusion and diversity as we follow the story of Quasimodo and Esmeralda along with rest of the characters, that still feel very relevant today
