Paul McCracken is an author from Belfast who focuses in the crime genre. This is Paul’s second book to be published, with a third on the way in the new year with another publisher. All of Paul’s books are based in Northern Ireland, with a particular focus on Belfast.

“I’ve always seen Northern Ireland to be a great setting for stories that could resonate with a worldwide audience. I’ve always been driven to create exciting and engaging stories that are set here which don’t have to rely on any negative stereotypes or troubles from the past.” – Paul McCracken.

Paul originally got into writing through a short course held in Belfast by The Prince’s Trust when he first left college and was struggling to find his first job. The course spurred Paul onto learning the craft of screenwriting. He found some success, namely becoming a quarter-finalist in The Fresh Voices International Screenplay Competition two years in a row before he moved on to writing novels. His first novel, Layla’s Song was released independently in 2018. Where Crows Land is his second published novel, published by The Conrad Press.

The book is now available on Amazon as an ebook with paperback copies becoming available in the new year.
