#BelfastKlout is a select group of 25 individuals that have the largest social media influence in N.Ireland. It features radio and TV broadcasters, fashion gurus, sports stars, singers, a female church pastor and less known individuals like Gary Toner.
#BelfastKlout uses social media analytics to ranks it’s users and doesn’t necessarily depend on huge following of fans, but is based on their influence. Individuals are given a score between 1 and 100. Globally, Barrack Obama rates 99, Justin Bieber rates 92 and Zooey Deschanel rates 86. Our very own Rory McIlroy rates 84 and Gary Lightbody 82.
So who is Gary Toner? Ask the manager of any restaurant, cinema or hotel in Belfast. The WWE wrestling fan is very well known for entering and winning competitions and despite having only 732 twitter followers Gary’s influence ranks very high in Belfast’s social media.
