C.S. Lewis Square on the Connswater Community Greenway in East Belfast is set to come alive this weekend as a jam packed programme of events takes place from 1pm-5pm on Saturday 16th October – with free entry, it’s a must do!
The always popular Urban Market will return with 35 small Northern Ireland businesses offering up an impressive array of homegrown and handmade produce, including local favourites such as Leo & Lyn Candles, Another World Belfast, Hungry Hungarian and Truffleupagus Vegan Yums.
Belfast International Arts Festival will welcome to the square, circus duo Simple Cypher in their first production Roll Up, Roll Up as well as acrobatic comedy show Routine by Company Zid.
Both shows will delight and amaze young and old alike with a spectacular display of parkour, juggling musicality and originality. Tickets can be booked free of charge via www.
Thomas Ferris, from Urban Market, said “We can’t wait to bring Urban Market back to C.S. Lewis Square this Saturday. The support for small businesses by the East Belfast community and the ongoing support from EastSide Greenways and EastSide Partnership over the past year has been overwhelming. With the first £100 spend local cards arriving in homes this week we encourage people to come along, soak up the atmosphere and treat themselves to something made in Northern Ireland.”
