The Ulster Orchestra launched their brand new corporate membership scheme at the Ulster Hall this week. The successful event welcomed five Founding Members – PwC, JTI, Willis Towers Watson, Ulster Carpet Mills Ltd and Cunningham Coates. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of refreshments, live music from Ulster Orchestra musicians and local singer/ songwriter Davy Watson, followed by the Orchestra’s JTI Lunchtime concert.
This new scheme is designed to engage with Northern Irelands business community and to shape and support the core activities of the Orchestra. These core activities include outreach programmes which engage with people across all age ranges, giving them the magical experience of live orchestral music.
Martin Groom from PwC says; “I look forward to spending many evenings with clients and customers enjoying world class performances in the heart of Belfast…I am also proud that via this scheme PwC will be associated directly with the work of the Orchestra across Northern Ireland. I know the power of music and its ability to transform peoples outlook and prospects. The Ulster Orchestra delivers amazing work with schools and communities across the wider society and I am pleased that the corporate membership scheme will help deliver more of this work.”
The Gold, Silver and Bronze corporate supporters will receive a package of benefits, including a generous allocation of complimentary tickets for both the Ulster and Waterfront Halls. Corporate Membership is popular with businesses as a straight forward way of entertaining guests and staff at high quality and high-profile events. Corporate Membership also aligns companies to the Ulster Orchestra and other business across the city and country and it can prove to be a very useful networking tool. The Ulster Orchestra will credit all members across print and promotional material for the scheme and acknowledge the support on the Orchestra website and annual report.
