– Make smart moves with extended Causeway Rambler service and new £8 ticket
Translink has announced that local passengers, visitors, and Game of Thrones fans alike will be able to explore one of the world’s best regions, the Causeway Coast, with a new extended £8 adult day ticket.
The Causeway Rambler ticket is for use on the hop-on hop-off Ulsterbus service from Coleraine to Ballycastle – a convenient route to all the main attractions such as The Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery and Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge.
Dunluce Castle, better known to Game of Thrones fanatics as House of Greyjoy, can be accessed via the bus route as well as Larrybane Quarry, the location for The Stormlands and Renly Baratheon’s camp in the hit TV series, sited beside the Carrick-A-Rede car park.

A Bus Rambler ticket costs just £8 (adult) or £4 (child) and allows passengers to ‘hop-on, hop-off’ all day for all our bus and coach services or an iLink card from £16.00 one day unlimited bus and train travel.
Translink is also encouraging anyone travelling from Belfast or Ballymena to the Antrim Coast and Giant’s Causeway to take advantage of a third-off day return travel on the daily 221 Goldline coach service departing Europa Buscentre at 9.30amand Ballymena at 10.15am (Mon – Sun). Translink customers will enjoy a special £1.50 discount on Giant’s Causeway admission prices with the return coach service departing at 2.45pm back to Ballymena and Belfast.
