Beluga Cavier and pearls, vintage Champagne ordered with ham sandwiches, a Wagyu Tomahawk steak and a tantalizing lobster and seafood tower feature among the most expensive dishes in the world ordered via on-demand restaurant delivery service Deliveroo, new figures reveal.
A decadent Seafood Tower ordered from Klaw seafood restaurant in Temple Bar, Dublin ranks 9th most expensive item that can be ordered by customers on Deliveroo. Coming in a mouth-watering €120, the Seafood Tower order includes a whole lobster, whole crab, eight prawns, eight unshucked oysters all served with buttery toast.
Kate Thomas at Deliveroo says, “There’s no better way to lift the spirits in January than to indulge in some fine dining as a special treat. If you’re feeling in a decadent mood and want to enjoy amazing food from some of Ireland’s most acclaimed restaurants, it’s great to know that you can enjoy them from the comfort of your own home, or at your desk at work.”
