With just days to go until Sleeping Beauty opens at the Grand Opera House, tickets for Northern Ireland’s biggest pantomime are selling fast. However, there’s still time to book tickets for opening week and to experience all the laughter and extravagance that the festive season brings to the theatre.
The undisputed queen-of-quick-quips, May McFettridge, will lead the cast as Queen May in her 24th year of panto at the Grand Opera House. She will be joined by Lorraine Chase as the Wicked Fairy, Carabosse, Rhiannon Chesterman as Princess Beauty and panto regulars Paddy Jenkins as the King and Ciaran Nolan as Carabosse’s wicked side-kick, Slimeball.
Sian Mawhinney, Head of Sales & Marketing at the Grand Opera House said:
“There’s great excitement in the theatre as everyone gears up for the event of the year. With more than 60,000 tickets sold to date, we’ve had a fantastic response but there’s still time to book your ticket for opening week. The Grand Opera House pantomime is such a popular event with families all over Northern Ireland and this year’s production of Sleeping Beauty will certainly not disappoint. I would urge people to book their tickets early to avoid disappointment and to come along and experience the magic of Christmas at the Grand Opera House.”
