Hot this season: Thrifty Philanthropy

With Belsonic fast approaching this weekend we headed to Save the Children Holywood after hours to pick out the best thrifty festival pieces we could find – meet our 3 final looks: Glasto Disco, A Coachella Novella and one for the Burning Man Fan.

With first dibs on a range of versatile and vintage items we got a taste of creating our own capsule collection – and you can too.

Save the Children are currently looking for volunteers in their Holywood & Belmont Road shops to support their on-going commitment to make a real change to children lives at home here in Northern Ireland and in the rest of the UK. By volunteering, you’ll gain customer service skills by meeting and greeting customers, stock control by sorting through donations, money handling / till training and the ultimate showstopper – creating your own shop window display. No experience is necessary, there are no minimum hours and full training and support is provided!

So are you ready to make the mannequin your muse and your CV shine?

If you would like to volunteer, please visit and search Belfast.
