Families First have been awarding men, women and children for almost a decade now at their renowned Families First Awards.
Through the years they have encountered so many empowering ladies, and this year they are hosting a ceremony just to honour and celebrate women who shine, women who make a difference not just to their own family life, but those who make a difference in the wider community.
The Mighty Women Awards will showcase empowering ladies across a wide spectrum of categories, some of which will look at women who excel in their careers; mighty woman in finance, management, entrepreneurship, health and beauty etc. Other categories will look specifically at women in the community; mighty woman in the home, overcoming adversity, and helping others. These are all ladies who have been presented to us by their peers, people who think they are deserving of recognition.
Taking place on the 22nd November in the prestigious Titanic Belfast, the ceremony will be presented by Cool FM’s Pete Snodden. The awards evening will culminate with a live band and celebrations until 1am.
Nominations are now open at www.mightywomenawards.com where you can see a full list of categories. We want to hear your stories about the women making a difference in your world.
