Eight hundred miles. Six days. One finish line in Banbridge — and a total that blew past every expectation.
Cool FM Breakfast’s Pete Snodden, Paulo Ross and Rebecca McKinney rolled into The Boulevard on Saturday 12 September 2026 to complete their Paris to Banbridge charity cycle for Cash for Kids. As they crossed the line, the fundraising figure was revealed: £201,478 — more than double the roughly £100,000 target LoveBelfast first reported when the trio geared up for the challenge earlier this summer.

Hundreds of local supporters turned out to greet them, turning the Banbridge homecoming into a proper community send-off after a week on the road through France, England and Scotland.
“The most unbelievable experience”
Pete Snodden said the ride had confirmed what the team can achieve together.
“This has simply been the most unbelievable experience and confirms what can be achieved when we work as a team and believe in each other… and it’s all to the benefit of local children who really do need these vital funds.”
Sponsor Omexom powered the challenge. Steve Mosley, who rode with the back-up crew across the six days, said the firm was proud to help the presenters hit the mark for Cash for Kids.
“This has been the ultimate challenge. Omexom is beyond proud to have supported Pete, Paulo and Rebecca, and helped them reach this amazing goal.”
Where the money goes
Cash for Kids supports children and young people across Northern Ireland affected by poverty, illness, disability or additional needs — the same local mission that underpins campaigns such as Mission Christmas. Every pound from this cycle stays aimed at that work.
