The MAC turns 1 on Saturday 20 April 2013.
It’s been an exciting, jam-packed first year for the MAC. A year in which 300,000 people have enjoyed 471 shows, 13 amazing art exhibitions, 75 family workshops and hundreds of school workshops, tours and happenings at the MAC – not to mention 58,398 cups of coffee drunk at Canteen at the MAC!
Join in and celebrate their birthday – from 10am, Saturday 20 April.
The first 100 visitors on the day will receive a complimentary tea or coffee and a Canteen cupcake. The U105 Jeep crew will be in Saint Anne’s Square from 12pm to help with ticket giveaways and there will be goodies and fun throughout the day. You can also check out MAC memories, and leave your own, in the Substation on the ground floor.
It’s also the perfect opportunity to check out the Andy Warhol exhibition, which is at the MAC as part of ARTIST ROOMS on Tour until Sunday 28 April.
