Henning Knows Bestest – 21 Mar, 7.45pm

German comedian, Henning Wehn, knows that there’s no shortcut to success. Hard work will eventually pay off and there is no shame in paying tax. But what he knows bestest is that his comedy shows are a guaranteed success. Wunderbar!

A regular on TV and radio, with appearances on QI (BBC 2) and his own six-part BBC Radio 2 series Henning Knows Best, this is you’re only chance to catch him on his UK tour.

David Trent – 22 Mar, 8pm

The runaway success of Edinburgh 2012 Festival, David Trent is a phenomenon. With a unique mix of music, video, animation & comedy, his show defies labels – you simply must see it to find out what everyone else is raving about.

Dr Brown: Befrdfgth – 23 Mar, 8pm

International comedy sensation Dr Brown comes to the MAC after a sell-out month run at Soho Theatre, London.

Befrdfgth is his award-winning show that scooped the 2012 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award, which has proved so popular that he’s been snapped up for another full month at Soho Theatre starting straight after his appearance at our comedy weekender – so we’re chuffed to have bagged him for one night at the MAC. This is one not to miss!

Dr Brown & Singing Tiger – 23 Mar, 3pm

We haven’t forgotten about the children in our Comedy Weekender, check out this comedy duo who picked up Best Presentation for Children at Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2012.

Join Dr Brown as he takes the toddlers, teenagers, grandparents, nieces, nephews, cousins, parents, neighbours and tigers on a journey from breakfast to bedtime in an absurd adventure for the whole family.

The Horne Section – 24 Mar, 7.45pm

Gathering together the UK’s finest musicians and throwing them on stage with the world’s most exciting comics, Alex Horne has created something truly unique.

Expect potent comedy, spontaneous stand-up, spectacular performance and outlandish musical talent. Hot on the rhythmic heels of their very own Radio 4 series and three years of sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the West End and across the world, The Horne Section bring their fanfare to the MAC.
