The Stena Line Belfast Giants will be celebrating with a new format Awards Night that will make it easier and more affordable to be a part of the celebrations of this memorable season. Rather than a sit down dinner, this year the Awards Night takes on a new format with the formal awards proceedings starting at 8pm followed by the usual music, dancing and drinks with the players and fans that will go on until late.
The Giants Awards Night will take place on Monday March 31st at the Ramada Hotel at Shaw’s Bridge. Tickets are only £10 and only £5 for 16 and Unders. Children are welcome.
“Our fans vote on their choices for the award winners and in the past, we have held an event that not everyone can afford to come to, it doesn’t make sense” said General Manager Todd Kelman.
“We want everyone that wants to be there, to be able to be a part of this special evening and hopefully this is a way to do just that.”
The evening still consists of all the normal awards being handed out and is preceded by a Drinks Reception sponsored by Diageo NI along with canapés from 7:30pm. After the final award is handed out, the party (and the music) will begin. The dress code is smart casual. There will also be some one of a kind Championship Souvenirs up for grabs in a raffle on the night, more details to follow.
Tickets will be on sale from the Giants Info Desk or Giants Office on (028) 9046 0044 or by emailing office@belfastgiants.com but remember last season’s Awards Dinner sold out, so book early. If you were in attendance last season, you know why it sells out and if not, this is the year to be there for an evening not to be missed.
