Two of the most prestigious and highly respected medical aesthetics awards ceremonies in the UK have joined forces in a partnership to shine a spotlight on the biggest talents in Northern Ireland.
In an industry-first development, select clinics and individuals within the medical aesthetics specialty that win at the NI Cosmetic Medicine Awards (CMA) will become Finalists for The Aesthetics Awards.
The Aesthetics Journal has now also been announced as an official media partner of the CMAs, solidifying the link between the UK’s most reputable medical aesthetic journal and these prestigious awards.
The Aesthetics Awards, held in March, is the most prestigious and longest-standing awards ceremony in the UK medical aesthetics specialty striving to promote best practice, safety and efficacy, and recognises the top leaders across the nation. The CMA, held in November, strives to acknowledge the exceptional medical aesthetics achievements in Northern Ireland.
Shannon Kilgariff, editor and event manager of Aesthetics, the brand behind The Aesthetics Awards, said, “We are absolutely delighted to be forming this collaboration with the CMA. As a national Awards ceremony, we feel it’s important we are representing individuals from across the country and this partnership helps us achieve this. The two ceremonies share an unwavering dedication to rewarding exemplary results, safety, individual efforts and scientific innovation. We cannot wait to welcome the CMA winners to our ceremony as Finalists, showing our true appreciation for the excellence being showcased in Northern Ireland.”
Lesley McGarrity, director of Cosmetic Medicine Awards, added, “I am absolutely delighted to announce our partnership with Aesthetics Journal as our media partner this year. This groundbreaking collaboration, the first of its kind, will not only highlight the incredible talent in Northern Ireland, but also fast-track some of our deserving winners straight to the finals of the prestigious Aesthetics Awards. It’s a fantastic opportunity to ensure the best of the best are positioned where they truly belong.”
The collaboration will be applicable to certain categories that are featured at both events, such as the award for Best Clinic, Best Clinic Team and Best Company Representative, as well as recognising the top practitioners in the field.
To confirm their entry to The Aesthetics Awards, Winners of the CMA will be required to submit an application that will be critiqued by The Aesthetics Awards’ independent Judging Panel, alongside all other Aesthetics Awards Finalists.
More information on the relevant categories and the judging process can be found on The Aesthetics Awards and CMA websites.
