To compliment his children’s book series ‘Frankie’s Magic Football’, the fully interactive website is recreated in conjunction with the launch of each book and the latest ‘Deep Sea Dive’ although tested on all browsers and available on desktop, is geared towards mobile and iPad usage due to most recent target market research.  Development included elements of gamification and a cutting edge parallax technique throughout, this has been specifically designed for iPad.

Frankiesmagicfootball.co.uk offers users the chance to join Frankie’s FC which keeps them up to date with information on Frankie’s and his friends latest adventures.  Once you have signed up to Frankie’s FC expect a little birthday surprise!

There is also an educational and fun element to the new website.  Users can play a super cool card battle game to see their name in lights at the top of the leader board.  They can also read a fun joke/fact of the week, or read an entire extract of the book.  There are fun activity sheets to download and users can even explore their creative side with a fun paint game!

Ali MacFarlane, founder of Sugar Rush Creative, said: “Working on such an innovative project has given us the opportunity to really push the limitations of web, producing a site that fully engages the user with iPad tilt movability, sound effects and various gamification features.  As well as using original artwork from the books, creating interactive games, 2D animation and video integration, we have combined all our in-house multiple disciplines with the latest programming techniques to deliver one of the most exciting websites within the children’s book industry.

“Our research shows that once on the site, children are inspired and engaged to play which is incredible for such a young age.  This shows that the site is perfectly suited to fans of Frankie’s Magic Football as there is enough entertainment value to keep them concentrating on the fun learning experience beyond the typical attention span.”

Welcoming users to the site by video, Frank Lampard said:  “I really hope you love the site, have fun exploring”.
