Fascinating photographs of Belfast, past and present, have been merged together to reveal how the locations have changed over 100 years.
Archival images of Belfast taken around the turn of the 20th century have been published by the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI), and merged with them are modern-day pictures of the city.
They provide an interesting insight into life on our capital’s streets in the late 19th and 20th centuries.
These photographs are the latest addition to the growing online archive of images, which includes thousands of photos from several collections.
They can be viewed on PRONI’s Flickr feed:https://www.flickr.com/photos/proni/
