On Sunday the 9th of June, we welcomed 13 of the region’s most glamorous ladies as they took part in the Miss Great Britain Belfast final.
The show was run by Regional Director, Lizzy Doherty. The prestigious event took place at the gorgeous The Merchant Hotel in the heart of Belfast with over 150 guests attending.
Before the event, each of the contestants invested their time and effort into supporting the two nominated charities, promoting the sponsors, working in their communities and on their passions as well as helping to build the brand of Miss Great Britain Belfast. Before the big reveal on Sunday evening, the 13 hopefuls took part in a one-to-one judges interview, dazzling fashion wear, swimwear and evening wear round for their last chance to impress the judging panel.
The judging panel this year consisted of 6 professionals from various industries who are all extremely reputable within their field. This year’s judges were Katharine Walker, Eden McAllister, Madeleine Wahdan (Reigning Miss Great Britain), Alan Wallace, Aryana Neo and head judge was none other than pageant royalty, Sally-Ann Fawcett.
Family, friends and sponsors of the 13 finalists were in attendance to see 25-year-old Stacey Burns from Lisburn crowned Miss Great Britain Belfast 2024.
Amongst the other awards on the night were the runners-up: 1st Runner Up Taylor Jordan and 2nd Runner Up Rebekah Martin.
