ROMEO AND JULIET SERENADE SHOPPERS ON THE MOST ROMANTIC DAY OF THE YEAR
Belfast shopper Anne McEery was feeling the love Backin¹ Belfast at CastleCourt as Romeo gave away red roses and serenaded shoppers with enchanting poetry. A modern adaption of Shakespeare¹s classic romantic drama, Romeo and Juliet will debut in the Grand Opera House¹s baby Grand from the 26th of February to the 2nd of March. Produced by Belfast theatre company, c21, this turbo-charged version of the famous romantic drama distils all the beauty, violence and tragedy of the original, but in less than 90 minutes.

As a romantic warm up before the show starts Romeo and Juliet took to the streets of Belfast on Valentine¹s Day as part of the Backin¹ Belfast campaign to serenade the shoppers with sentimental soliloquies, and romantic rhymes while handing out red roses.
