Everyone knows Rod Stewart, the famous British rock singer, but sports fans might not know his son, Liam, is a pretty good hockey player.

The 22-year-old currently plays for the Coventry Blaze, a British hockey team, and last season he had 20 points in 49 games.  He also played four seasons in the WHL and 13 games in the ECHL before joining the Blaze.

Liam is currently representing Great Britain in IIHF World Championship Division I – Group B play, and in a game against Belfast on Monday he scored his first career International goal in his first senior International tournament.
