The highly anticipated sprint Obstacle Course Race (OCR) Red Bull Conquer the Castle will make its debut in Northern Ireland on Saturday May 6th taking place against the backdrop of the magnificent Castle Irvine, in County Fermanagh over the Bank Holiday weekend. Registrations to the ultimate Obstacle Course Race events is now open at RedBull.ie/ConquerTheCastle.

If you fancy a fitness challenge with a difference this year it will be bigger and better as the event also returns to the Rock of Cashel, in Tipperary (10 June).  Each venue promises to present a host of unique tasks that will stress test the body and mind to their limits.

From muddy crawls to monkey bars and balance beams to stone wall crossings, competitors will tackle the parklands of the 19th century Castle Irvine course, which is 3.5km in length, with upwards of 25 outdoor obstacles or try to overcome the lung busting series of 20 plus obstacles in Cashel, as they attempt to ‘Conquer the Castle’.  There is no point in pacing yourself, as these courses will be full tilt from start to finish proving to be a real test, even for the most determined.

Contestants over 16 can register to compete at either or both events with prizes for the top three finishers in the male and female categories. Do you have what it takes to Conquer the Castle? To register or learn more, visit RedBull.ie/ConquerTheCastle.
