When visiting Dublin for business or leisure, the Radisson Blu St Helen‘s 5 star Hotel is the perfect spot. It’s location is ideal, being off a main arterial route and also on lots of bus routes to the city centre every 10 mins. The hotel is under a 35-minute drive from Dublin Airport.
From the moment we entered the hotel and were met at reception by welcoming staff and warm fires on a frosty December evening we knew we had chosen the right hotel for our night away. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
The gardens and main reception areas of this 17th Century estate are classically beautiful and staff are well trained, welcoming and helpful.
Each elegant room includes as expected.. cable/satellite channels and a mini bar, while the bathrooms feature hair dryers and bathrobes. Hot drinks can be brewed with the complimentary tea and coffee supplies, and enjoyed in the comfort of the room’s living area.
The beds were AMAZING! So comfortable and the pillows are the best I’ve slept on…..ever!
The hotel features a restaurant and a bar where guests are able to relax of an evening with dinner and a drink. The waiting staff were fantastic especially Alfredo Marcelli , who we couldn’t praise enough for his hospitality skills and friendliness.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. You won’t be disspointed with booking this hotel.
The highlight of the stay was being able to take an evening walk around beautifully maintained gardens. This really is a beautiful hotel.
