Belfast restaurant week

Lindsey Hall from Visit Belfast is joined by local chefs and restaurateurs (l-r) Natalie Lennon from Folklore, Tony O’Neill from Thornyhill Restaurants, Tommy Mangan from Shu, Michael Dean from Deanes John McClean from Birdcage, and Askir Ali from Safa, to encourage restaurants to sign up to Belfast Restaurant Week by this Friday 5th July.  Spearheaded by Lord Mayor of Belfast and supported by Belfast City Council, Visit Belfast and DARD, Belfast Restaurant Week is a major, week-long, citywide initiative designed to promote great Belfast food and champion the City’s diverse and award-winning choice of restaurants, cafés and gastro-pubs. It kicks off onSaturday October 5th with a week long programme of celebratory events, specially-designed menu options and offers, as well as food-focused events – all which will celebrate the city’s vibrant restaurant scene. Restaurants keen to take part in Belfast Restaurant Week 2013, which runs from October 5th-12th, are encouraged to register their interest by July 5th deadline.
