This chic, hidden gem of a hotel just off Leeson Street in Dublin felt like a warm hug after a busy week… We had no plans except to relax hard; and between the gorgeous garden, luxe bed, and impeccable service, I basically forgot how to stress; but let me tell you my top three reasons why we loved this cosy boutique getaway.

1. The courtyard garden – this gorgeous little oasis of calm right in the heart of Dublin was so peaceful & uplifting, with the gentle flow of water in the fountain, plus birds chirping and a light breeze blowing the through beautifully manicured flora… What a place to finish the week’s work!
2. The interior design of the hotel shared spaces (as well as the individual rooms) gives a sumptuous nod to art deco with a hint of mid-century thrown in for good measure. We loved our richly coloured headboard and wall coverings with thick curtains & gentle blinds over original windows – a visual delight!
3. Delia’s food! We’d read about the hearty & wholesome breakfasts prepared by breakfast chef Delia – and they did not disappoint! We decided we’d drive to Dublin any day of the week for her eggs Benedict 🍳
Overall, it was giving understated elegance, plus, with its central location, everything was walkable too.
All in all, a really perfect stay: From the comfiest bed to the Irish breakfast that was everything it was reputed to be, this is a 10/10 recommend for anyone needing a luxe city break.
