TUI believes that everyone deserves a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, including families with neurodivergent children or adults, and is proud to offer a growing range of tailored services designed to make travel easier and more accessible for neurodiverse guests.

April marks Neurodiversity Awareness Month and TUI’s focus goes beyond raising awareness, with practical measures designed to improve accessibility and comfort for neurodivergent travellers. This includes the launch of sensory rooms in two TUI BLUE hotels – in Ibiza and Cyprus – and teaming up with a special educational needs childcare agency to help ensure that childcare programmes are neuroinclusive.

Neuroinclusive family holidays from Belfast this Summer:

• 2 June 2025 – Belfast International to Turkey,Holiday Village AQI Turkiye, 4 Star, Sarigerme, AI, 7 nights from £2,119 (2+1), £2,959 (2+2)
  • This family friendly resort caters for children of all ages. There are on-site professionally run teen and kids’ clubs, with staff who will go above and beyond – numerous reviews on TripAdvisor praise attentive staff who are considerate of the additional needs of neurodiverse children. This extends across the entertainment and food teams also, with staff more willing to assist and make accommodations. In addition, there is a full roster of daytime activities, buffets with familiar, child-friendly and healthy options, big rooms fine-tuned for families and top-quality football, swim and stage academies on site.
• 11 June 2025 – Belfast International to Cyprus,TUI BLUE Nausicaa Beach, 4 Star,  Protaras, AI, 7 nights from £3,009 (2+1), £3,549 (2+2)
  • The TUI BLUE Nausicaa Beach is one of two hotels who will be introducing an on-site sensory room to support neurodivergent guests this Summer season. The sensory rooms will feature quiet zones, soft lighting and interactive sensory equipment for those who may feel overwhelmed or overstimulated by unfamiliar surroundings. The hotel’s frontline staff will also be undergoing enhanced neurodiversity awareness training. In addition to the sensory rooms, the hotel hosts a range of daytime activities and sports, including family focused activities and a swim school. The buffet restaurant offers international favourites, local Cypriot delicacies and a section designed specifically for children, too.
• 31 July 2025 – Belfast International to Lanzarote,HL Rio Playa Blanca, 4 Star, Playa Blanca, AI, 7 nights from £2,509 (2+1), £3,509 (2+2)
  • Located close to Playa Flamingo Beach and just 1km from the harbour’s shops, bars and restaurants, the HL Rio Playa Blanca is a spacious bungalow complex that is well suited to families with additional needs. There is an on-site TUI Kids Club ensuring that little ones are looked after, led by English-speaking staff with UK-certified childcare requirements or equivalent. There are multiple pools onsite, including both kids’ pools and a quiet pool for those who may need it.
• 2 July 2025 – Belfast to Ibiza,TUI BLUE Aura, 4 Star, Port des Torrent, AI, 7 nights from £3,429 (2+1), £4,389 (2+2)
  • TUI BLUE Aura is the second hotel introducing an on-site sensory room this Summer to help support neurodivergent children and their families. The frontline staff at the hotel will also have enhanced neurodiversity awareness training to help support guests and their families, to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment. The family-friendly hotel is in a quiet spot, with a waterpark next door for those fancying a change of scene. There are three pools on-site, including a shaded children’s pool area. There is an on-site kids club with age appropriate experiences for children aged 3 to 12, as well as the ‘Active Vibes’ program aimed at children aged 7 to 12.  The buffet restaurant offers international favourites, local regional flavours and a section designed specifically for children with their favourites, too. Chefs are also more than happy to cater to vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets where needed.
• 28 July 2025 – Belfast to Majorca,TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins, 4 Star, Alcudia, AI, 7 nights from £2,689 (2+1), £3,409 (2+2)
  • With some of the best child-friendly facilities, including professionally run kids clubs and high quality entertainment, TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins is a central location for families. Located on a stretch of golden sand in Playa de Muro in Alcudia Bay, the waters are shallow enough on the beach for paddling, with the nearest shop just 50m away from the hotel meaning all you need is on your doorstep. On-site, there are two kids pools in addition to a larger outdoor pool, with a Swim School running throughout the season for guests. There is an on-site TUI Kids Club ensuring that little ones are looked after, led by English-speaking staff that are certified to UK standards, as well as The Hangout for teenagers between the ages of 12 and 15.
