Each year, brave and selfless individuals and companies across the business world, from the relatively small to some of the largest global corporations, come together as one and stand side by side, united in their commitment to fine moustachery and changing the face of men’s health. The Movember journey requires dedication and during the month your team members effectively become walking, talking billboards raising awareness for men’s health. “I will be embarking on the Movember adventure to raise funds for the men’s mental health programmes of the PIPS charity in Belfast. I visited the PIPS offices on the Antrim Road in September and was bowled over by the enthusiasm, compassion and dedication of its team. PIPS describes its role as providing “support services for people in suicidal crisis and those impacted by suicide including specialised support for young people bereaved through suicide and care services to help people engage successfully with long term mental health care”. http://www.justgiving.com/momayor

What about us females?
Never a truer word was spoken, when it was said that behind every great man, stands a great woman. Whilst a Mo Bro may grow, it is the Mo Sista that is often the driving force, first planting the seed (of an idea) and then carefully working away behind the scenes of fine moustachery for the 30 days of Movember. A Mo Sista is essentially a woman who loves a Mo. An individual that is dedicated to supporting the Mo Bros in her life through their moustache growing journey; whether it be a friend, colleague, family member, partner or boyfriend. These inspirational women are committed to raising awareness of men’s health issues and much needed funds for men’s health along the way.
