Say hello to MayFest Belfast! Custom House Square, 23-25th May 2025
The late May Bank Holiday weekend 2025 sees the return of the award winning Eclectic Love Club Classics festival on Saturday 24thMay at Custom House Square, Belfast City centre.
However, building on the huge success of last year’s show at the iconic venue, the event has expanded into a 3 day & night long bank holiday weekend festival starting 6pm on Friday 23rd May with Folk Fest Belfast featuring THE DUBLINERS ENCORE, the official stage show organised, cast and produced by remaining member of the original band, John Sheahan, alongside his children and legendary producer Phil Coulter.
The band are currently touring Europe after a 3 night string of sell-out shows in Dublin earlier this year when they were unexpectedly greeted and applauded at the venue by President Michael D. Higgins.
This will be the band’s debut show in Belfast and huge excitement is building around the gig already, a truly unique performance of the world’s biggest Irish Folk band of all time!
Also on the bill are The HIGHSTOOL PROPHETS who are fresh off both the SSE & 3Arena stages to massive acclaim. Joining them are the HOOTIN ANNIES, a huge local favourite in pop folk circles!More acts for Folk Fest on Friday 23rd May at Custom House Square are yet to be announced!
Returning to the Square is the now legendary ECLECTIC LOVE concert on Saturday 24th May. This year after a huge 2024, the show goes ALL DAY with gates opening at 1pm for a huge 10 hour club classics dance super event in the late spring sunshine!
This year’s headliners include Dj SASH!, Matt Darey, Dave Pearce, 4 Strings, Lost Witness, The Tamperer, Karen Parry.. plus returningfavourites Ultrabeat, N Trance, Kelly Llorenna as well as the king of Club Nation himself Dj Micky Modelle!
Joining them are more local legends; Downtown Radio’s Neal McClelland, Energy106’s Dj Danny Dee, Ed Heaney & Q Radio’s Dj Gareth Woods as the show’s MC host! Are YOU ready to danceagain?!
On Sunday 25th May, bringing the festival to a close are the BELFAST BRUNCH CO guys who are throwing the city’s biggest birthday party ever! Kicking off at 2pm right through to 8pm the guys headed by the fantastic Jonboi & Blase will have us singing along to all of our favourite RnB & ballads live in the Square in the Belfast Brunch Co 1st Birthday Party!
So impressed with their craic.. Queen of the power ballad Celine Dion herself didn’t Think Twice when she recently shared one ofBrunch Co’s videos to her millions of fans, Because She Loved themwas The Reason, but enough puns for the time being!
